Addendum 1 for RFP 08C (ASPIN) is available for download on the Procurement Solicitations page. The addendum applies to Food and Related School Cafeteria Supplies – Category 1 on the required Excel workbook (spreadsheet.)

RFP 08C-0508 ASPIN POSTED
Mohave Educational Services Cooperative, Inc. (Mohave) solicits sealed proposals from qualified vendors for RFP 08C-0508 for the following categories:

1) Food and Related School Cafeteria Supplies
2) Bread and Baked Goods
3) Milk and Dairy Products
4) Fresh Produce

Proposals must be received in the Kingman office of Mohave Educational Services Cooperative, Inc., 625 E. Beale Street, Kingman, AZ 86401, no later than Thursday, May 8, 2008, at 4:30 p.m. (MST).

Note: It is not expected that offerors will respond to all categories. A proposal should be limited to only the category that offeror has the expertise and for which it is capable and willing to contract.

OPEN HOUSE THANKS
Thank you to all the members and vendors who took the extra time to stop by and say hello to Mohave's staff at the Open House in Kingman on April 3. We hope you enjoyed the hospitality, and we look forward to seeing you soon at our Mohave Expo 2008.

MOHAVE EXPO 2008 SCHEDULED
This year's Mohave Expo will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 pm. on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at the Mesa Convention Center.
Watch for more info and online registration, which will begin in May.

FORMER BOARD MEMBERS RECOGNIZED AND NEW BOARD MEMBERS APPOINTED
Mohave extends appreciation to Gary Aller and Karen Havird who completed their terms on the Mohave Educational Services Cooperative, Inc., Board of Trustees in December 2007. Both Mr. Aller and Ms. Havird served on the board since 2004 and each were recognized with a plaque for their excellent service.

At the annual meeting held on January 9, 2008, three member representatives, Michelle Hamilton, Larry Weeks, and Brian Mee, were appointed to serve on the cooperative's Board of Trustees. New to the board are Larry Weeks, Director of the Yuma Educational Materials Management Consortium, and Michelle Hamilton, Procurement Specialist Supervisor for Mesa Public Schools. Brian Mee, Assistant Superintendent for Business Services at Pendergast Elementary School District, completed his term in December 2007, and was appointed to an additional three-year term. Mohave appreciates the willingness of these individuals to provide representation to its members.

MOHAVE PROCESS CHANGE IMPLEMENTED
The new Mohave Order Process which impacts member order and payment processes went into effect on January 1, 2008. Complete information is provided on the Process Change page. If you need immediate assistance, please contact us at (928) 753-6945.

All Mohave contracts have been amended and approved for use by our members with the exception of the following contract which is on hold. New orders for this contract will be held by Mohave until their process change amendment/report is received and approved. Members will be promptly notified of any held orders. We anticipate quick resolution of this matter. Please contact us with any questions.
