Meet Mark Kinsey
Mark Kinsey joined
the Mohave staff as Director of Outreach and Education on November 5, 2007. Mark works out of the Phoenix Office and travels throughout the state meeting with members and vendors. |
Q Tell
us a little bit about yourself. Where
were you born? Where
did you grow up?
A I
was born and raised in Pennsylvania.
Q Who
are some of the special people in your life?
A The
love of my life--my wife, Lisa, and our little girl, Cameron.
Q Are
you more of a people-person or an animal-person? Explain.
A Both.
It depends on the person/animal.
Q How
long have you lived in Arizona? What do you like best about living
here?
A Eight
months
and counting. I enjoy the hot/dry climate and the fact that the snow
will not usually come to you--you have to go to it.
Q What are some of your favorite things?
A Movie:
The Good, the Bad and The Ugly (or any SCIFI); Book: The
Forever War; Hobby: Traveling/Exploring.
Q Talk
about an interesting job that you have held.
A I
was
the Chief Dispatcher for all mail going to and from the American Embassy,
Nato Headquarters and SHAPE (Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe)
during the first Gulf War.
Q Have
you served in the military? If so, what branch.
A Yes,
I served in the United States Air Force.
Q If you could be anywhere right now, where would you be and
why?
A Bouncing
back and forth between Disneyland and Sea World with my family. Two of
the funnest places on earth.
Q Of
which accomplishment in your lifetime of which you are most proud?
A My
marriage and my daughter.
Q What
is your impression of life at Mohave?
A Life
is good here.
