Loralei Poll currently works as a Senior Contract Administrator with Valley Metro Rail, Inc. where she procures engineering services and construction contracts through various procurement methods.  She recently joined their team in February 2011.  She offers 21 plus years of procurement experience with the City of Scottsdale, the State of Arizona and the Tempe Union High School District.  Ms. Poll brings a great deal of experience and knowledge to her Board of Trustee position.  Additionally, she has served a six-year term on the executive board with the Arizona State Capitol Chapter of NIGP.

Other past experience includes her work as a Purchasing Technician (IT support) for the City of Scottsdale and worked with homebuyers as a Realtor. She continued her career in the procurement community with the Departments of Emergency and Military Affairs, Transportation and Economic Security for the State of Arizona, writing formal purchasing solicitations for a myriad of state needs such as construction jobs, transportation planning consultants, research projects, traffic engineering consultants, auditing, business processing and media services. She also worked as the Right of Way Operations manager for ADOT, which oversaw the budget, contract administration and accounting staff for the acquisition of property for State highways.

In 2003, Poll received her undergraduate degree from University of Phoenix in Information Technology specializing in Business Systems Analysis. She has also earned her Certified Public Purchasing Buyer Certification (CPPB) and trained on various data analyst techniques, financing software and facilitating business processes.

Based on all of the above and more, it is clear that Ms Loralei Poll will be a tremendous asset to the Mohave Board of Trustees.
