We have been focusing on member orders and “outs” and have not been able to process too many invoices. We appreciate your patience and hope to get caught up this week. PRODUCT “OUTS”: We have been having difficulty with Shamrock Foods having adequate inventory of products. Shamrock Foods has assured us that they will meet with the appropriate staff to bring in products. Usage figures are critically important to the process. If you are going to need more than 25 cases of a particular product, please let your ASPIN representative know two weeks ahead of time. The more usage information we can supply to Shamrock, the better they can respond. NEW CODES: Many of our members have been using old product code numbers. Please be sure to discard the previous year order guide and use the 05/06 product list we sent to all members. GATORADE: Due to increased demand for Gatorade throughout the country, Pepsico has notified Shamrock Foods that there MAY be a shortage of Gatorade. Please see the attached letter from Pepsico. PRODUCT CHANGES: Please see the attachment to this update for product code number changes, products that are now available and some new items that are now available. ASPIN CPA ADDENDUM: The revised CPA Addendum can be downloaded from our website at http://www.mesc.org/aspin_signup.html We will need each of you to bring this new CPA to your Governing Board for approval. CN Resource is a dynamic, growing consulting firm that is looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual for the School Nutrition Division. The position requires school food service experience and nutrition background. Strong computer skills a must and Nutrikids software experience preferred. Job responsibilities include working with staff dieticians to create healthy menus and conduct detailed menu analysis. In addition, this position will provide consulting services to state agencies. Some of these services may require out-of-state travel. Part-time with potential for full-time in 6 to 12 months. Pay commensurate with experience.
