MEMORIAL DAY HOLIDAY: The ASPIN Office will be closed on Monday, May 31st in observance of Memorial Day. Please plan your orders accordingly with your ASPIN representative. 04/05 MAINTENANCE FEES: Great news! Due to our membership growth, we are able to reduce maintenance fees for the 04/05 school year by 35 percent for all ASPIN members. Our new maintenance fee schedule is included as an attachment to this update. STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT: Your statement of account of invoices due ASPIN will be faxed to all members this week. It is very important as we approach the end of the school year to be sure all ASPIN invoices are scheduled for payment. Please let Bette know if there are any discrepancies. Thank you to all ASPIN members for their prompt payment of ASPIN invoices. ASPIN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING: Our next ASPIN Executive Committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 3rd at 10:00 am at the Phoenix Mohave Office, 5225 N. Central Ave. #218, Phoenix, AZ. We will be discussing bid renewals for next school year. All ASPIN members are welcome to attend. However, space is limited so if you plan on attending, please let your ASPIN representative know. SERVING IT SAFE CLASS: The will be a serve-safe class offered in Chandler on June 21st and June 22nd. The cost is $120.00 per person. MILK PRICING IS WAY UP! Please review the attached milk pricing for the month of May. As you can see, milk pricing is up considerably! As you know, our dairy contract is based on monthly pricing determined by the federal milk market orders. We hope this will be a temporary increase. COLD STORAGE PRICING: Cold storage for the month of May is attached to this update. As with milk prices, cheese prices are up considerably. 04/05 MAINTENANCE FEES: Great news! EMAIL/INTERNET: Mohave's internet server was inoperable from Friday, May 7, through Tuesday, May 11. The system is now working properly. Please resend any email sent to ASPIN or Mohave from May 7-11 to make sure that your message has been received. Due to the interruption of our internet service, there has been a delay in posting the weekly update.
