PRICING
RENEWAL: We have submitted our usage information to Shamrock Foods
for pricing for the 07/08 school year. Our usage includes 55,000
cases of meal trays, 41,000 cases of cereal, 21,500 cases of corn
dogs, 21,000 cases of chicken nuggets and 16,500 cases of spork kits!
Our estimated volume with Shamrock Foods next year will exceed 26
million dollars.

HOLSUM
WHOLE WHEAT PRODUCTS: Please note that whole wheat hamburger,
whole wheat hot dog and whole wheat sub
rolls will only be available
to order through Holsum on Mondays. Holsum Bakery has been
losing a lot of product due to orders being low. Please follow
up with
your independent delivery driver about availability of these
products.
OLIVE
RECALL: Shamrock Foods has issued a statement that they do not
stock any olives affected by the March 27th
olive recall
issued
by the FDA.
GROUND
BEEF RECALL: Shamrock Foods has stated our products are NOT affected
by this recall. VOLUME
INCENTIVE DISCOUNTS: Our members earned $33,493.51 in volume
incentive discounts for
the third quarter! These
discounts
will be
reflected as a credit on a future ASPIN invoice. Our members
have earned $108,191.08 in discounts year to date! AMPHIRE
ORDERING SYSTEM: If your district is using the Amphire ordering
system to place your Shamrock orders, please remember
to create 2
orders per drop site. One will be for your “Food” products,
the other will be for your “Non-food” products.
This is the only way the system can separate food and non-food
items.

MOHAVE
PROCESS CHANGES: Your district may have received
an e-mail from Mohave Educational Services Cooperative
regarding
process changes for Mohave orders. Those changes are
scheduled for implementation on January 1, 2008.
It
is important to note that the changes at Mohave WILL NOT
have an impact on ASPIN processes. We will
continue
with
our current
order and payment processes. This change applies
ONLY to Mohave purchases.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do
not hesitate to contact us. SPECIAL
ORDERS: When you need to place special orders with Shamrock Foods
(items that not regularly
stocked)
they
need you to place
your requests a minimum of 3 weeks ahead of time.
They try their best
to schedule delivery of special items but the more
lead-time you can give them, the better they can
meet your requests.
ASPIN
CPA ADDENDUM: Some of our members still have not completed the
revised CPA Addendum. Bette will
be notifying
these members.
It is very important that all of our members have
