ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING: The
ASPIN Office will be closed this Thursday, April 28th because
we will all be attending the ASPIN Executive and Advisory Committee
Meetings at Shamrock Foods. We are looking forward to seeing
so many of you there! For those of you that cannot make the
meeting, please plan your orders accordingly with your ASPIN
representative.

OFFICE CHANGES: Monica
Martinez will be leaving us as of Friday, April 29th. She
has been offered a position that
better suits her needs. We want to thank Monica for all she
has done for ASPIN and our members and we wish her the very
best in her future endeavors!

FOR 05/06: If you would like to have any
products added to our bid list for the 05/06 school year,
please contact your ASPIN representative. We will need
to know the approximate annual usage for the products you
request.

QUARTER INCENTIVE DISCOUNTS: 3rd Quarter
Incentive Discounts: ASPIN members earned a total of $17,222.17
in third quarter volume incentive discounts. The amount
earned by your school will be shown as a credit on a future
ASPIN invoice.

MEMORANDUM REGARDING WHOLE GRAINS: On December
10, 2004, the Arizona Department of Education issued a
memorandum regarding the purchase of whole grain products.
The AEC will address this issue in our bid renewal for
the 05/06 school year.
