ASPIN STAFF UPDATE: ASPIN is pleased to announce that Stephanie Holzman from the Tombstone Unified School District will be joining ASPIN as Member Service Representative on March 6th. Stephanie has been a member of ASPIN for 8 years. She will bring a wealth of knowledge about ASPIN and school food service operations with her to the position. She will be managing the school accounts formerly handled by Nick Bunce. Please join us in welcoming Stephanie to our team!

UPCOMING SNAAZ EVENTS: The School Nutrition Association of Arizona has some upcoming events. The first is the Legislative Action Conference to be held in Phoenix on February 22nd and 23rd. The other event is the Professional Growth Seminar scheduled in Flagstaff on March 3rd and 4th. Mark your calendars for the Industry Seminar. The annual Industry Seminar is scheduled in Chandler on April 20th and 21st. Registration materials for this event have been mailed to all districts. For more information, you can contact Lois Stansbury at 866-402-9038.

STRAWBERRY MILK: Shamrock Dairy now has 1 percent strawberry milk available in half-pint cartons. The product code number is 32305. It is priced one-half cent higher than the 1 percent chocolate.

STRAWBERRY MILK: Shamrock Foods now has 1 percent strawberry milk in half-pint cartons. The Shamrock Foods product number is 2382221.

ASPIN INVOICES: We are now current with our invoicing for Shamrock Foods! If you have any old Shamrock invoices that you have not received an ASPIN invoice for, please call Bette.

BEEF PATTIES: The Osborn Elementary District would like to know if any of you are interested in processed Pierre Flamebroiled Beef Patties. They are 140, 2.3 oz patties per case. They have a total of 171 cases at US Foodservice. The case cost is $16.91. If you are interested in this product, please call Laura Soto at 602-707-2021.

ASPIN CPA ADDENDUM: PLEASE NOTE: Many of you have not yet submitted the revised CPA Addendum. It is important that all of our members are covered under the same agreement. The revised CPA Addendum can be downloaded from our website at http://www.mesc.org/aspin_signup.html. We will need each of you to bring this new CPA to your Governing Board for approval. Your current CPA Addendum will remain in effect until the new document is approved. If you have any questions, please call Bette in the ASPIN office. Thank you to those ASPIN members who have already submitted the new CPA Addendum!

All of us at ASPIN and Mohave wish you the very best!

ASPIN OFFICE CLOSED: The ASPIN Office will be closed on Thursday, February 16th. We will be attending the Shamrock Food Show in Phoenix. Please plan your orders accordingly with your ASPIN representative. You can reach Shamrock Foods at 800-289-3663.

ASPIN STAFF UPDATE: Nick Bunce has given his letter of resignation to ASPIN. His last day of service to ASPIN will be February 17th. He will be going into management at a local restaurant. We want to thank Nick for his service to ASPIN and our members. We all wish him the very best in his new endeavors!
