of January 28, 2008 | WELCOME BACK TO STEVEN GORD!: Steven Gord is back! We are all glad to have him recovered and back in the office. He will be working half days for the next couple of weeks. AEC MEETING: The next ASPIN Executive Committee meeting will be held at 9:00 am on Thursday, February 21st at the Glendale Elementary District Office, 7301 N. 58th Ave. Glendale, AZ 85301. All members are welcome but space is very limited. Please call Bette if you would like to attend this meeting. Take a look and maybe you can take advantage of the program! SECOND QUARTER DISCOUNTS: ASPIN members earned $53,803.40 in volume incentive discounts from Shamrock Foods in the second quarter! These discounts will be reflected on a future ASPIN invoice for Shamrock Foods purchases. FY 07/08 COMMODITIES: The Department of Education has distributed the remainder of your 08 entitlement. Please note any price increases to ASPIN must be substantiated from the manufacturer. Any price increases meet the terms and conditions of our contract with Shamrock Foods. STEVEN GORD: Our Invoice Specialist, Steven Gord is out on extended leave. We expect Steven will be back full time at the beginning of February. In the mean time, any invoice questions should be referred to Bette or Charlene. All of us wish Steven the very best and are looking forward to his return!
