IMPORTANT DATE CHANGE: Our AEC and AAC meeting has been changed to FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2004, at Shamrock Foods. There was a scheduling conflict at Shamrock and we needed to move our meeting back a day. Invitations were faxed to all members last Friday. The AEC meeting will start at 9:00 and the AAC meeting will start at 10:00. Shamrock has a great day planned. Please plan on attending! We look forward to seeing you there! The invitation to the meeting is included as an attachment to this UPDATE. ASPIN WELCOMES ANOTHER NEW MEMBER! Welcome to the Red Mesa Unified School District! We are looking forward to working with Sharon Horse! As ASPIN grows, all members benefit! ASPIN INTERNET ORDER SYSTEM: Thank you to all of our members who are using the internet order system. If you have not tried it yet and would like to, contact your ASPIN representative and we will get you set up! PRODUCT PRICE INCREASES: Included as an attachment with this UPDATE is a list of products that will have a price increase. These price increases meets the conditions of our contract with Shamrock Foods. PICK UP AUTHORIZATIONS/CREDIT MEMOS: If you receive a pick up authorization from Shamrock Foods, please fax it to us at the ASPIN Office. We have been working with Shamrock to receive all credits due our members. RAINBOW PRODUCE PRICING: We did not have pricing from Rainbow produce at the time of this UPDATE. MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY: The ASPIN Office will be open regular hours on Monday, January 19, to meet the needs of our members. PRODUCT PRICE INCREASES: Included as attachments with this UPDATE are two lists of products that will have a price increase. This increase meets the conditions of our contract with Shamrock Foods. PICK UP AUTHORIZATIONS/CREDIT MEMOS: If you receive a pick up authorization from Shamrock Foods, please fax it to us at the ASPIN Office. ASPIN WELCOMES SYLVIA RIOS!: We have hired a new employee for the position of ASPIN Member Services. Sylvia Rios will be joining us starting January 12! Sylvia has an extensive background in customer service. Please help us in welcoming Sylvia to the ASPIN team! MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY: The ASPIN Office will be open regular hours on Monday, January 19, 2004, to meet the needs of our members. ASPIN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING: The next AEC meeting is scheduled at 9:00 am on Thursday, February 12, 2004, at Shamrock Foods Company. All ASPIN members are welcome to attend. ASPIN ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING: The date has been set for our Annual ASPIN Advisory Committee Meeting. Mark your calendars now for Thursday, February 12, 2004. Please plan on attending! We will be holding elections for the AEC. All members can vote but you must be present to vote! The meeting will start at 10:00 am at Shamrock Foods Company, 2250 N. 29th Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85009. We are planning a fun filled day! Don’t forget if you are interested for running for the AEC, please let Bette know. STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT: Statements were faxed to all members last week. Please let Bette know if there are any discrepancies. Thank you to all members for your prompt payment of ASPIN invoices. Please act quickly because the order cut off date is this week! PRODUCT INFO: Product #8998981, mop head, cotton, 16 oz. is no longer available. As a replacement, you can order #8999550, mop head, cotton, 24 oz. 12 pk. The price is $22.57 for Valley and $23.06 for State. Please note the pack size is 12.
